And, if you're sitting outside having a coffee with someone they think is your date, they get up close and poke pins through the skin of their palms. If you walk away, they follow you.
Does Zseni think there may good reasons for not giving to these kinds of people, or would she say, meaninglessly, that it all comes down to 'not feeling like it'.
'Not doing something' can always eventually be traced back to 'not feeling like it'. Is she making fun of people for rationalizing?
The coolest begger I saw was a young girl who did cartwheels through moving traffic to reach my stationary rickshaw. I didn't feel like giving, but how can you say no to that? How does Zseni explain me giving 30c to the girl despite my feelings... without telling me how I was ACTUALLY feeling at the time? If not giving means 'not feeling like giving', does giving mean 'feeling like giving'? Or, was I overcoming my feelings of not wanting to give using some detached purely cognative part of my mind? Can anyone really *feel* liking giving? Zseni can't answer these questions, so Zseni should shut the fuck up. |
