Instead of being a fast paced sci-fi show about war and politics and the human spirit, the characters are now solely motivated by visions (daytime visions, night time prophetic dreams (go and see your ship's tent prophet if this is happening to you) or full-on second personality). It's bad enough when the chief mechanic is suddenly called to a temple and then fills us in on a back story about his parents being religious, but once a star of the show just has dreams about killing herself and then does it (so that she can get some time off to shoot an NBC pilot (I guess White Noise 2 really ignited her career)), I'm nearly checking out of this show. |
