This part reminds me of House of a Thousand corpses, which I just saw a few months ago, which blew me away with its shittiness and the fact that Ghost Ship lost its title of "worst recent horror movie" so quickly. Both films trying o so hard to be shocking and gory but just coming off as being desperate. The "slaughter scene" in Ghost Ship was amazing by the fact that it managed to fall so flat and yet be grating and repulsive (not the good kind) at the same time; it earns my personal pick for "worst single scene in horror movies for the past 10 years".


Lizard King thinks you're everything that is wrong with horror movies for liking gore (and not Resident Evil).
