Hitler was certainly no worse than Stalin or Churchill, and I can name people living today who are worse - Ariel Sharon comes to mind, many would also say George Bush, but he's just the latest in a long series of American presidents who've killed untold numbers and diversity of people since the end of the WW2 and continue to do so (who and blindly support Israel, who do much the same and worse).

But don't let that bother you. Just keep telling yourself as long as nobody "does a Hitler" again (whatever that means, since a lot of it was just black propaganda carried over into post-war era), it's all acceptable.
