I hated every enemy with a grace period. The highlight of DMC3 is the ability to get all in the enemies' faces ALL THE TIME and never let up in your pummeling. Couldn't do this with the starfish, angels, or floor reapers. "Okay, enough of kicking my ass, time for me to sink into the floor which I'm totally invincible while doing so don't even try to stop me."


The one thing keeping me from being perfectly content in playing dante must die forever is the removal of the telltale battle cry every time an offscreen enemy is about to charge you. Upping the difficulty shouldn't require the breaking of necessary game mechanics.
