To be fair, I also was worried they were giving Dante a Castlevania makeover at first. But after the "we must entertain our guest scene, only a moron would still think the game was being serious.
They also thought the Jester fights were hillarious :(

That's especially sad as the funniest part of the fight is that jester bleeds confetti. Unless they're roling on the floor laughing their heads off over the part where he's standing on a giant ball with a face and says something about you thinking he has a swollen head. God forbid these guys should ever happen across a game from Shiny's heyday.
