The PKM?

I've found it to be pointless for anything but inflicting damage to unarmored vehicles and helicopters, which the anti-tank and barret sniper are much better at. Against infantry it's so inaccurate that it loses to a shootout against a standard assault rifle all the time. At the short range where it finally because viable, the semi-auto shotgun is a better choice (again making the anti-tank class superior).


The only situation I've ever seen any worth in a support weapon is being faced with multiple enemies, rounding a corner, at short range, who are too stupid to stop and lob grenades once they see the pointman go down.

I heard the 2nd support unlock solves the accuracy issue, but that they also "tweaked" it in the 1.2 patch. Curious to see if it's still worth it.


Hey remember those two free unlocks everyone was supposed to get right before the patch? Still haven't gotten them.

Support: PKM: The Support class unlock is an automatic development of the Kalashnikov automatic rifle design. It carries up to 100 rounds of ammunition. The relatively low rate of fire for this weapon is compensated by its power and accuracy. As of Patch 1.2, this weapon rivals the G36C in its accuracy.
