A lot of agreeing that they don't like the trailers
Because the trailers suck. People moaning and screaming and tight closeups of...whatever, metal and flesh and stuff. And then QT hangs his hat on it, which means it's assuredly awful, because he ran out of good taste about 1/3 of the way into Kill Bill2.
and no one is going to see it because older movies are better.
No, again, because it sucks. Among the "older" films I referenced: The Sixth Sense, The Ring. Yeah, I know, so last millenium.
Koontz says that "True horror movies are playing out in Washington and other places", which I think means that Syriana is the best horror movie of 2005,
Koontz? Good one. He's Creexul with Schizotypal personality disorder instead of Asperger's Syndrome, but you knew that.
and ex-poster Bill Dungsroman says that if he was ever over at someone's place ("chilling") and they had Hostel and other movies like it, he would no longer associate ("kick it") with that person.
Anybody who runs out and buys Hostel, House of the Dead, Cabin Fever or anything else utterly devoid of anything but Fangoria cover stories in terms of quality or buzz is a rancid bag of submoronic dummy and it's my fault for going near his place, I must be there to buy blow from him. And your jab on my spurious narrative style is pathetic, but then again so is racing through the internet crying because nobody above the age of 14 and/or German likes this piece of sophomoric celluloid dreck.
I think that's a metaphor for Caltrops.
The film? It's a quagmire full of uninspired idiots that drown out anything resemblant to quality such that even the good stuff is mired in mediocrity, and its aggressive, in-yo-face campaiging is annoying at the very least. So, yeah.
Three posters in a thread of 38 posts actually saw that movie, the rest are adamantly opposed and are worried about where their monocles may land should they pop out.
In this little stub of a thread, so far nobody but you has, but they're all on your jock about it's magnificence. Your point?
And, I don't need a monocle to avoid stepping into a pile of shit when I can smell it a mile away. And, oh wow, yeah I so terrified of some film where people get cut up. I used to get paid to do that. It's not the gore, it's the bore.
Here's INCsuite miserably failing to troll me for about the millionth time:
