I noticed that Location of Teh Funneh Arcades has a banner for Second Life up. It's basically like the doppling from Overdrawn at the Memory Bank, except on the internet, and apparently you just sort of DECLARE what your "second life" is, in essence your internet persona (fruity italics necessary), like as a furry or super hardcore fighter or perhaps HL2 obsessed, drooling, fuzzy pervert. Except you have to pay. Hell I can just get a LiveJournal account for free and proclaim that I am NEPTUNE SALAD, THE GOD OF SEAFOOD and I don't have to pay extra for that. Anyway, MY POINT IS!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure the Funny Ha Ha Arcade dudes both have accounts there as their comic characters. Wow. Also, they only mention Half-Life 2 out of an occasionally remembered courtesy to their readers, knowing their readers don't spend all day playing Fru Fru Fairy Tales for Kids: The Game, and are instead waiting for the best game in game history. The fact that they pegged Guilty Gear Gold King of XL Beast Fighter 4000 v 2.322b as the best game of the year in February (for it's amazing innovation of adding a "scratch head" button never before seen in a fighting game!) that would just make them more silent in embarrassment after it turns out the appeal of those zany console novelty games is less than a week, and certain PC first person shooters are going to force every game conceived of after it to live up to its ridiculously high standards. The end. :( |
