Just finished.
The possession thing made zero sense. Half of the murders were the little boy, the other half the woman, neither of which had any reason for a grudge. The man's ghost possessed them after they died? Then switched back and forth...sometimes, except when he killed some dude himself (without zombie makeup). The woman grabbing the cat during her murder (as a weapon??) somehow drags Fluffy into the whole afterlife killing spree.
No murder scene for the real estate agent?
Ringu?
-Vengeful ghost chick with long black hair obscuring face, revealing wide open staring eyeballs at last second.
- Small boy (drawing big black scribbles)
- Child's drawings of ghost chick with long black hair obscuring face.
- Drowning
- Main character blond chick dooming her man to be killed(?) by ghost.
- Exciting internet search sequence!
- Videotape
- Ghosts calling you over phone
- Victims having their pictures altered after the fact
So yeah, no rules horror movie whose only highlight is creepy zombie ghosts. Every second some wide eyed ghoul isn't on screen making gargling noises is a waste of everyone's time. It's like they took some bad slasher flick and just made the killer a bunch of ghosts, then tried to confuse everyone into thinking it was original by splicing the timeline. I guess the idea behind this movie was taking the jump cut of the guy's corpse from The Ring and stretch it out to 90 minutes.
Not completely worthless though. It'd probably scare most chicks so go and watch it with one to get her to jump on you. Like Ringu/Ring, I imagine the American version is far superior since it's not the worst movie ever made.
