conflictNo: They're just going to use the rebar half-ass and not actually layout the proper number of bars
Sanitario666: So the game will be architecturally incorrect.
Sanitario666: What if someone made a game all about rebar? What would you do?
Sanitario666: No longer a wallflower, now the main attraction -- "REBAR: The Quickening"
conflictNo: I think people are gaining an incorrect understanding of building structures based on the prevalence of semi-destroyed buildings in every map ever made
conflictNo: It's like when they screwed up the physics in everything
conflictNo: physicists got angry
Sanitario666: They did?
conflictNo: sure!
Sanitario666: Their anger did not encroach upon my life.
conflictNo: I don't know
Sanitario666: So you're saying that architects may soon be the driving force behind upcoming changes in video games?
conflictNo: Well, we're not really doing much else
conflictNo: I remeber the greatest thing in gaming came when you had fps maps that allowed two-story buildings and the like
conflictNo: Remember in Doom where nothing could be above you? That SUCKED
Sanitario666: Fully deformable maps in realtime are coming, conflictNo. You'll be able to blow up a building and there will be debris. The proper amount of rebar? The devs won't know, and they'll need consultants. Experts. Architects.
conflictNo: 8-)
conflictNo: I'm desperate to validate my education
