Goblin Khan: From the Gate District, head west - you are at the Crossroads (there are two hidden treasures at the Thieve's Camp). From the Crossroads, head West, you are at the woodcutters camp (El Bosque, and no hidden treasure). In the Woodcutter's camp, there is a path in the NW corner that heads west. Head west. You are now in the River Dryad's Lake area (Lago Del Rio Ebro, no hidden treasure). MAKE SURE YOU GET HER QUEST SHE GIVES YOU A POTION OF +1 LUCK (the Beggar's Guild will as well at the end of their quest path, additionally you can pick up an additional +1 perception if you look through Galileo's telescope in the Temple District BEFORE you pry the lens off for Leo da Vinci's uber-crossbow).

In the northwest corner of the River Dryad's Lake area there is a cave near/behind the waterfall. if you head north into this cave you will be in the Waterfall Cave area (there is one Hidden treasure in the SW portion of this cave). Go through the Waterfall Cave area, heading borthwest - there is an exit. You are now in the city-sized Goblin camp (no hidden treasure - plenty of chests though). Wipe them out, all of them. Along the north border to this map, slightly east, is a cave entrance - in this cave is the Goblin Khan - HE IS DAMNED NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT. In the area he spawned from (where the archers were left behind, hopefully) there is a secret door hidden in the north of that room with 3-4 chests and two traps. Remember that corner you ran around to get away from his spawn area? There's a secret door just SW of there, too with a chest.

Tips on killing the Khan: If you (stupidly) went with two-handed skill (LESS ITEMS = LESS STAT BUFFERS YOU MAROON) there's a Bounty Hunter camp to the west of the Goblin Camp map (one hidden treasure to the west of the southern chest) where you can buy 'GoblinRipper' or 'Everlasting', a huge hammer of doom against goblins for 8195 gold or so. Alternatively you can kill the Bounty Hunter for negative Karma (affects the end of the game) Damage: 1-15+4 +25 against Goblins +15 points to two-handed melee skill and +5 AC. Though insanely expensive, this weapon will defeat the Goblin Khan quite readily. In any case you should stop at the the Bounty Hunter Camp briefly to touch the stat-booster green crystal to the south of it.

Otherwise, do what I did. Grab Inquistor Darsh from the Goblin Camp, and just before you get to the Goblin Khan himself, run back around the corner - drop off Inquistor Darsh there. Now, creep forward to the Goblin Khan - eventually (when you hit the space between the two black banners) you'll trigger him - immediately run back around the corner and have Darsh rejoin you (he's quite the caster). If you're lucky only the Khan and maybe his Shaman followed you. Should be MUCH easier (though not easy) to kill them now. Lots of potions/heal spells help here.

Cortes: Remember the Woodcutter's Camp map from above? Head south this time (the path south is in the SW corner) and you'll be in a map called Rio Ebro (2 or three hidden treasures here). Head to the SW corner of this map - so that you can just see a cross across a stream. Cortes will cast a spell to destroy the cross and and a path will form across the stream. Walk into the cave. Cortez will grab the gold and leave the rest for you. Scan about for hidden treasures, open/pick the chests, then click on the eye of the dragon (not the gem which I hope you picked up, but rather the actual flaming eye).

You'll be transported to a secret room. Open/pick those chests that you can - you probably won't be able to pick the third chest on the left until later in the game. Leave it for now and exit - all the spirits in the cave will bumrush you. Kill them and exit.
