Would the impact this book has on me be diminished by the fact that I have never liked a single thing T. Friedman has written before? I mean, does it adhere to his pattern of stating an interesting conceit and then self-destructing by trying to turn it into a rule of economics? I don't know, but I am always instinctively repelled when anyone from the New York Times discusses globalization...would this be the exception to the rule?
