My pink wookie? Hm.
It was rushed out to coincide with their swg live interview on thurs. They hosted another comic which had it's own page, that's the plan with this one. So it'll have a proper page for itself eventually with archives and all of that. I had no idea what to call this, not sure if my pink wookie makes any sense for what it will be. I suppose that doesn't really matter. I'd hate to have some comic going for a year and then have Lucasarts send me some cease and desist order, like claiming I am associating their intellectual property with ongoing faggotry (however lawyers put it). I think there should be a better name for the comic, and I hate to just use Unknown Player comics page, because what if they fire me and I have to go get another webspace? I think it needs a better name.
I am going to make these cartoons vert instead of horizontal, they were sketched on paper and scanned a month ago. I simply picked sunday comics format out of habit, figuring they would be smaller on-screen. But they had to be a larger resolution to make all that text readable. I can fix the ones I've already done later, still saved in photoshop layers.
I was going to avoid drawing backgrounds entirely, but I think I may have to change that rule.
Right now I'm plodding through the world of warcraft forums, figure that's my best bet. haven't come up with much. I tried reading the daoc forums and they have so many new acronyms now I don't know wtf anybody's saying. This comic might need a glossary. The hardest part of this is going to be the hunting for material. SWG beta was so easy.
Now all I need is Shnibble to chime in as someone else to tell me it sucks.
