Not exactly fresh off the grill, but I just found out about Pat Robertson's ongoing efforts to defend the Taylor regime in Liberia. His later attempts at rationalization aside, it is obvious that his concern begins and ends with the millions he invested in a gold speculation land purchase in a partnership with the Taylor government, described in greater detail here.
