Listen, Senor Leadfoot, you can't just evoke images of incompetency and then plaster them to my forehead. I'll show you what I'm talking about:
Leadfoot? What the fuck is that? Is this tying in my driving style in subtle ways too hilarious for me to pick up on?
Yes, they have irony where I come from (Chicago!) although no hypocrisy. I did find out about hypocrisy when I came to the West Coast. Would you like to connect irony and hypocrisy to whatever post you imagine them to be attached? And be specific, please. "My post was ironic and your was hypocritical." Isn't what we're looking for here.
Then, I will be specific. Once again, you seek to win an argument by boring the opposition into giving up...victory by attrition is nothing to be proud of, not in your case. This is nothing new around here, but rarely done with such an indignant lack of self awareness.
Let's start with irony, which as our good friend the dictionary tells us is "something poignantly contrary to what was expected". When you say you're too clumsy and oafish to lay low, too hypersensitive and public-minded to let even the dumbest line go without a retort. Perfect target. you are actually characterizing your own style to a T. Me, I'm what you call a casual poster these days. You are obsessive about your arguments and the ensuing meta arguments. The reason why I mentioned irony is because it would be ironic if you were sincere and actually meant what you were saying, utterly oblivious of your own day to day doings. That may be a part of your misshapen personality, but it is not the main part that rears its ugly head all too frequently. No, we are dealing with part 2:
We then segued into hypocrisy because you know damned well that you're bullshitting everyone by dropping this sort of "WORST POSTER EVAR" nonsense. Your opening line, alleging not only that you are aware of some caltrops quality standard (nonexistent) but that you are its objective arbiter, is followed up by a demand that somehow I go the extra mile and explain why your post is stupid (with examples, of course, to further waste my time and make it unlikely that a full reply will be written). When, apparently, you feel no compunction to do the same (Nor, of course, should anyone have to except in cases egregious enough that they would probably require banning anyway). It's like Barborito's rhetoric without the endless flow of facts, pseudofacts, and supporting, marginally relevant quotes.
See, IRONIC on its surface, HYPOCRITICAL in its nature.
All of this could have been avoided if you'd simply accepted what is plainly obvious from the beginning. Instead, you opted to pop monocles left and right. Clear?
