| While on the subject of buying laptops, could anyone give me some comments on this laptop that my university wants us to buy at (they say) a super price?
Toshiba Tecra S1 (PT831C-103JLF)(intel Centrino 1.4G) 256Mo DDR 15"TFT LCD Radeon 9000 32M rj45, 802.11b, infra-red, 40Go ATA-5, cd burner, dvd player, 9cell lihitum-ion (5.5Hr)battery and all the regular stuff They ask 2148$CAN for it (+58$ for 256 More RAm and 30$ for optical mouse) so alltogether with tax it's about 2600CAN (in your us money it'S about 2000$) And they install all the warez I need(legally!) for my program(maple, matlab, office, Visual, et al) Should I throw my hard-earned government lended money on this? Is the centrino any good? Will I be able to play halflife 2 on it? Can I play it NOW? (sorry) Thx for advice caltropsmen and woman(not women, since vagzseni is no more) Kmax |
