There's not many times where you can really point to one case of free agency and say that it cost a team a game, but if John Tait was back there rather than the Chief-colored pylon they placed at right tackle, they would have won that game. It was that close. Whenever Green left the safe confines of his offensive wall good things started to happen for Denver.

I'm going to guess that Mrs. Shanahan got fucked pretty hard last night, too, all the while (after Champ Bailey's performance -- I've never seen a pickup make a more dramatic difference in his very first game) saying things like, "I'll tell you what a shut down corner is worth, bitch!" Or maybe they picked cheese from mouse traps together. Whatever it is they do in the comfort of their home is really none of my business. I bash Shanahan enough when things blow up in his face, but I'll give him credit for a good trade.
