I worked a union job once... by Fussbett 09/07/2004, 6:55pm PDT A Chinese guy I know very little about recently revealed to me that he needs glasses, yet owns none and doesn't bother with contacts. INSTEAD, he went to a Chinese doctor who gave him hard plastic EYE SHAPERS. You put these into your eyes at night, and when you wake up in the morning you remove the lens to find that your eyes are now shaped differently, bent in a way that gives 20/20 vision thanks to the occular Jell-o molds. As you go about your day, your eyes gradually re-bulge into their fucked up natural state, so that by night time, your vision is worse than it was in the morning. So you put the EYE SHAPERS back in and go to sleep. This sounded like pure fiction to me, and I accused him of being a liar, and of dishonouring his ancestors with ridiculous lies from his lying mouth, spoken with a forked tongue. Turns out it's the worldwide practice of orthokeratology, but it's still got it's skeptics.
