(on a serious note, Chapter 9 of How To Master the Video Games is titled "Off-Machine Exercises" which is pretty much the greatest four pages of text ever committed to paper. The highlight is the exercise to improve your rhythm by having a friend TIME YOU as you attempt to tap a pen on a desk once every second.)


How far from the monitor can the books be and still count? I have an 8 foot tall bookshelf 5 feet away. Too far, I bet.

Question: is the title really "How To Master the Video Games"? Because that would just make the book even more awesome. You should incorporate quotes from it in any reviews you do.

(The Gripping Hand was pretty good. Better than I expected.)
