Allthough earlier today I discovered that ABC was pretty good because they didn't show any annoying tickers;
CNBC's stock ticker covers over most of the interesting parts of the war footage.
Allthough now I'm at work discovering nobody provides video streams for free anymore.
I watched BBC World News last night as they followed some Royal Marines around. The reporter with the unit informed the folks back home that dozens of Iraqis had surrendered to the British troops. One guy asked something along the lines of, "Really? We had heard many reports from the Americans about Iraqi troops surrendering and some were starting to speculate that it was just propaganda, but you're saying they actually *are* surrendering?" Nice.
It's only interesting watching the tanks roll along at 2 FPS for about 5 minutes, tops. So far we're just rolling in toward the dug-in positions/abandoned positions (whichever they turn out to be). |
