I don't have my little class info sheet in front of me, but if I remember correctly he's like a 8th or 9th dan black belt who's practiced Judo for 10 years. The guy's from here in town and he teaches most of the Judo classes here as well as help lead the club. I don't know whether he's studied other things or not.
I'm taking this mostly for over-all faggy self-improvement stuff. I'm trying to eat as much as I can to hopefully put on some weight, and I hope to gain extra body control and strength through the class. The class meets twice a week, and I'm trying to get into a routine of going to club at least twice as well plus hitting the gym to run, stretch and lift when possible.
IU actually offers a lot of different arts. Off the top of my head they include Judo, Brazilian Jujitsu, Aikido, Tai Chi, I think Karate, and probably something else I'm forgetting. |
