I've now picked it up, first impressions... by MM 04/25/2026, 8:15pm PDT Note that the game has been renamed "Heroes of Science and Fiction." So far it's like HOMM3 with more complex base building and slightly more interesting units. I was wrong, this is definitely a game with unlimited size unit stacks. So far I haven't encountered any of the excellent music from the trailers, maybe it's a mole-people thing. The initial campaign mission drags on and on. I kinda lost interest. Random map generator is still in Beta and trying to even access it soft-locked my game. I think I'll let this sit a couple months until the planned DLC comes out.
