Songs of SilenceCompletely uninteresting. Feels like the only strategy is to optimize your paths to tackle harder and harder mobs in the right order as you level up. Taking on one too powerful will almost obliterate your army even if you win. Because of this there seems no point in pulling off a close win - you then need to spend precious time rebuilding your army while your opponent continues to snowball. I really dislike the spell mechanics... you build up mana points in different schools over the course of the battle. And the type of mana is determined by the troops you have. Which has two effects: 1) You can't experiment with different types of troops and different schools of magic. 2) Your powerful spells are only available at the end of battle, by which time it's probably already been decided. I was very confused that you have a Hero for each army, that you can equip with armor and weapons, but that hero doesn't even fight? Also, battles are just boring Songs of ConquestThis looks great and the army builder / management looks promising. But it kept crashing on me and I couldn't even make it past a few battles. Will revist after some patches. |
