Ha really? You can't see PICARD doing that way more? Picard is the guy who actually wore an age of sail uniform and made his crew pretend to be "ancient" sailors onthe holodeck. Anyway, Kirk is a WWII navy captain and the Enterprise is a fleet carrier. That's where he comes from. Also, are you sure David was right? That goes 180 degrees counter to your argument. I think you mean Carol was right, right?
