Dude, I will admit I did not even remember the larger DIN connector for keyboards, haha. Some background: a guy in Longmont made a modern ISA sound card that works as a Gravis Ultrasound and such. I did not have a motherboard with an ISA slot, so I bought one from eBay. That kicked all of this off.
I have a single PS/2 keyboard around for when I need it, and I was mildly surprised to see the larger connector on the motherboard (an AT one).
I would bet I had an adapter once... it seemed cheaper to just get an adapter. Just one of those things where there is no point in throwing such an adapter away, but I never thought I'd want to go back to the Pentium lands again! |
