I took a picture of my model and you can clearly see that the secondary hull has a seam that doesn't meet correctly on the front. (This pic also shows the dish part with the notches, but the seam looks even wonkier in a more full front view.)
I bet I have to send this back. (Not mad about that, just saying.) Looking at this guy's video (below), his looks perfect. I sent him that link -- take a glance at 3:39, it's a nice smooth arc under the neck there. Mine very clearly does not look like that. Then the support guy told me the deflector dish part, which has three little oval-ish raised bits, has to have those on top, with the middle one at 12 noon. That is *upside down* dude. Now watch the youtube guy put the part on, starting at about 4:02. Notice the ovals are at the bottom, and it's smooth along the top. The notches are different sizes for fuck's sake, it's clear how to orient this. I took a bunch of pictures and tried to be polite. Can't wait for his reply. Yaaaaaaaay fun Here's the video |
