| The Your Movie Sucks guy
I'm ready to declare Adam of YMS as the Confused Matthew of the 2010s. A whiny, nasally movie critic who constantly shouts at nothings with a poor understanding of movies that becomes more obvious the more you watch. Like Matthew, he made ONE good critic series (The Matrix sequels/The Walking Dead) then got an inflated ego. But his friends are hilarious, and whoever they get to edit their commentary videos is great. You're constantly wishing Adam would shut up so his friends could talk more. Yahtzee Would Yahtzee be the Bill Murray of Youtube comedians? Someone everyone thinks is hilarious and puts out funny works, but is really a miserable dickish twat in person? His Aussie friend Gabe is constantly putting out the jokes, while Yahtzee keeps getting hit with control freak insecurity, cutting Gabe off so he can drone on even more. Keeps shining the spotlight on what a FREE SPEECH ABSOLUTIST "all politicians are the same" bootstraps libertarian he is. Thinks he's actually spouting wisdom by vomiting up tired witticisms like "You can't trust politicians because the kind of person who wants power by becoming a politician can't be trusted". Too bad he wasn't old enough to get into the 90s standup scene. He would have made a killing on lawyer jokes. |
