A few weeks back the yaoi girls had a Christmas party in which all their characters exchanged made-up gifts. My character, Seifer, was busy depth-charging the intestines of Jane's Irvine at the time so I missed all the fun. Later, though, Seifer made some promises regarding a surprise. This is because Seifer is perfect and like any perfect man knows that there is a gift-debt associated with missing Christmas.

Tonight or tomorrow night I'll be back in that chatroom again, and the surprise will be an intangible but real gift by way of slapping everyone else in the face with their skanky imaginary gifts. A poem. Seifer's a sensitive guy, he can write poetry, and in this case the poem is supposed to be about their first time, i.e. when Seifer grabbed Irvine and carried him bodily out of the bathhouse (!) under fire from the rest of the naked steamy-hot boys, took him up to bed, pinned him to the bed, and was prevented from rape only by Irvine's broken admission that yes, yes, he wanted it.

I was stuck between twin desires: to sweep Jane off her feet, along with the rest of the girls, and not to waste any more of my precious fucking time on this endeavor. As a result the poem is poor. It doesn't have to be super, not for these purposes, but I heartily encourage everyone to lay in on this one and be hideously brutal. Remember, this is for science.

The Bath

There were clouds of steam
To confuse your whiteness
When they touched you -
Would the smell of you linger
Would it moisten my mouth

You condensed on angry frost wings
You weighed nothing.

That moment I moved through you
A child's winter breath
Catching snowflakes on his tongue
