...that they changed who the killer was in the version I was watching. I think it might work better their way? Or maybe it's just fun to watch a familiar story without knowing precisely how it all turns out. I know a lot of people are down on remakes, but I kind of love them. Some of my favourite films are remakes - The Maltese Falcon, His Girl Friday, The Breaking Point, I could go on and on. If they ever make another Titus Andronicus I'm going to see it. Or another Hound of the Baskervilles, or Another Thing from Another World... hey, that could be the title! Someone get me the number for John Carpenter's hospital room. |
