It manages to crack through the "shield" by slowly burrowing through it using its little engine. The universe also has a particularity when it comes to "lasguns" and shields. If a lasgun strikes a shield, an atomic explosion happens. It either goes off in the shield, in the lasgun firing at it, or both. Saw it with two people who had never seen it and they both liked it. Said it felt like an old-school epic, with a modern tune-up. Like an evil Lawrence of Arabia. |
