Need to get a new computer for my dad at a distance. Good Manufacturers? by MM 02/08/2021, 3:58pm PST Joy! The PC I built for my dad seems to have died of a motherboard-related illness, as they described over the phone a message popped up saying, "New CPU or Memory" before going black and never giving any text again. It probably won't be safe for me to enter their home until June, or longer depending on the new mutant strains. He doesn't game, maybe the best solution is for him to get a prebuilt. Who are the decent manufacturers nowadays? Dell?
