I hope he "stumbles" over his clarification ten more times. It's certainly the first time I'd be inclined to see his show.

The one obvious risk is ESPN being owned by Disney. I don't know what the chain of command is like, but I wager that they're willing to cave in to "too much heat" and/or advertiser anxiety. As you say though it's totally about getting fired up, so the mad losers are still getting worked over as intended.

Pretty exhausted at this point at [social] media outrage. Makes you a junky for stress hormones.
