| While I would never listen to his show, I can get behind people pretending to be idiots screaming at each other. He is pretending to be an idiot screaming at Skip Bayless, who is also pretending.
So I love that he basically said, "There's no excuse to hit a woman. That said, gals: there's stuff you can do to not provoke domestic abusers as well." With the tacit insinuation of, "If you have to walk on eggshells, GET OUT." I wish I could say I'm shocked at how the Deadspin Comment Crew and so forth have run with this. Of course they hate the guy. They think he's up there yelling about Tim Tebow and gimmedaball and he is deathly serious. It's an act. His show gets better ratings in the morning than anything else they've come up with. The guy is intelligent and articulate. I bet if you asked him, he'd admit that he loves the Three Stooges. There is a reason he still has a show even though the tumblr crew is outraged - the entire point of his program is getting people whipped up into a frenzy. I hope he "stumbles" over his clarification ten more times. It's certainly the first time I'd be inclined to see his show. (Everyone watching today doesn't have a job, by the way. That's something to keep in mind. They either work in sports entertainment or society considers them unemployable.) the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! |
