Season 5 by fabio 05/20/2017, 1:54pm PDT Episodes 1-7: Nothing fucking happens. 7 hours. People futz around Castle Black. People futz around Winterfel. Arya washes cadavers. Arya talks to a Vorlon for five hundred hours. I can't remember the last thing I saw on television that was worse than Arya's season 5 scenes, and that's counting the later seasons of Dexter. I can't wait to see how they're going to make Bran's plot even worse. Episodes 8-10: The undead attack was the only cool thing to happen the entire season. All that time wasted on the Stannis plotline, all the filler where nothing happened, and you get an anti-climatic conclusion. They couldn't put one-tenth of the effort into portraying that battle as they towards the stupid arena fight for the stupid dragon lady whose plot has gone fucking nowhere for 4 years? Why does George keep anti-climatically cutting off all the plots that have potential to be interesting but has kept the never interesting dragon lady one going? After 4 years of dragon lady plot's going nowhere, they reset it back to the beginning! Who didn't instantly see the poison kiss coming? Fuck Jon Snow. Only 2 more Starks to go until that dumb, dull family is gone for good. Did they ever say whose army attacked Stannis? It was over 3 times the size which doesn't make sense that it was the Boltons', even after half of Stannis' deserted. Another plot that's repeated every season: a captive Lannister is escorted for judgement by some ruler, must strike up conversation and form begrudging respect for captor who ends up saving their life.
