Come to think of it, things like this might not be so terrible. I mean, all I really have a desktop for is a beefy GPU. If I had a need to lug a laptop around, I could justify getting a paper-thin featherweight laptop and then a dock or connector of some sort that just had a big-ass GPU. Maybe some hard drive slots too if I wanted to "back up" data or just install games or something on external drives.
