Pros: heat generated externally, potentially better heat management, no or less thermal fault restarts, can play more games or render 3d models or do film editing or run CUDA
Cons: currently pricy, but I may have a shot at doing it on the cheap. currently requires express card slot or thunderbolt port, may be able to roll over to USB3.0 with some effort(?)
