The difference, my dear Fabio is that a few women in those long ago naïve days deciding to of their own volition appear in some mildly saucy photographs is nothing compared to major gaming publishers constantly shoving a non-stop barrage of images of women, images more often than not controlled and created by men, to serve as little more than eye candy for the male gaze. Like this issue with your precious "Dragon's Crown" was not only were the images of women cutesy-fied versions of tired male-centric fantasies, creator Hideki Kamyia certainly rubbed salt in the wounds with his shitheaded and frankly homophobic replies to concerns raised over the sexist imagery in his game.
