This post changed my life and I miss talking about lifting with Zseni by WITTGENSTEIN 08/07/2014, 7:09pm PDT Current bests: Deadlift - 405 lbs Squat - 365 lbs (I was really proud to make it past the 300 pound mark before I turned 30) Bench Press - 225 (I AM BAD) Power Clean - 185 (FUCK) Overhead Press - 155 Before I read this post 3 years ago I was using machine weights and doing ellipticals and the improvements were okay but nothing spectacular. After I started using barbells everything got better. I used to have knee pain when I'd vault up some stairs too quickly and that was the first thing to go. Then about 20 pounds. My weight is still up around 240-250 and I'd rather be 215. My lowest was 235, but at the same time my lifts keep going up so I can't complain if I'm staying the same weight but getting stronger. This, and reluctantly taking LK's advice to give Saints Row III a shot (with co-op and skype) are the two best things I've ever gotten from Caltrops.
