| Here is where I came to the absurd realization that movies are now at the point where we have to watch a TV friendly version in theaters and wait until it's out on TV before we can see it unedited.
My Edge of Tomorrow review go buried. You should probably go see that and Xmen Days of Future Past since I guarantee you that Hollywood isn't going to make better entertainment movies for the rest of the year. You get to see Tom Cruise killed over and over! It's also one of the few movies that's PG-13 without feeling like the rating is holding it back. EoT is pretty creative in working the violence to keep that rating, and DofP has some downright gruesome deaths that stretch the "if there's no blood it's okay!" rule to the limit. |
