Me being lazy is probably the strongest reason by Lurker 340924 05/09/2014, 11:19pm PDT The other is that being bound to a Dragon Warrior/Final Fantasy type of battle system is just really unappealing to me, ESPECIALLY since the game revolves around a single character. I know that if I really cranked things out and probably lifted a bunch from those Epic Fantasy Battle flash games, I could easily make something good since every fight would essentially be boss battle, but that would involve rejiggering the story to add in another 2-3 party members.
