Redshirt would've been vastly improved if you could die during away missions by skip 02/10/2014, 5:04pm PST

making a misstep in Space Quest means death (HILARIOUS Sierra death sequences make a game fit for ten-year-olds, not for today's indie crowd), but in KoDP you can take your lumps and scrape by even though the game is inflexible enough of the time to warrant criticism.

The studio couldn't even be bothered to be in a minigame IN THE MOST OBVIOUS SEQUENCE TO PUT IT IN to break up the fucking monotony of repairing trees and "liking" messages. I was looking for a game where I engage in social machinations, climb the corporate ladder, and step on others on the way up, not some Trek flavored version of a Christina Love game. They probably justify it through some half-assed justification of taking away control to make you truly feel like an expendable peon or whatever.
