He pointed me to other Marxists who had quotes from Marx saying so. I changed my opinion. If I have evidence I'm willing to consider it.
This should be easier for you then an average person who is forced by society not to put wheels on their chair. Certainly. As soon as you actually present evidence. But first, you need to not throw insults that beyond which I can point out unintentional errors in your statement on its face.
Check your premises. The average person in an office sits in a chair with wheels on it. It's only visitors and people in waiting rooms who sit in fixed, unmovable chairs. Check your typical executive or clerical worker, they usually are using chairs with wheels on them.
Ever had a medical exam? You sit on a stable platform like an exam table while the doctor sits on a stool that has wheels because he or she can get around you easier.
I know what you meant, but what you said was in and of itself objectively wrong. since ordinary people who can walk routinely have wheels on their chairs.
