My final thoughts on this by Ice Cream Jonsey 01/05/2013, 2:19pm PST
For 8 levels or so, it was a lot of fun. I was able to forgive it breaking so many established rules of games. I don't feel at any point it overcame the breaking of those rules, but I wasn't mad.

Theeeeeen the shit came. Discarding weapons, stupid bosses, the hospital level, the SECOND hospital level. Then I learned that to get the proper ending I needed to play the whole game with one particular mask. Nope nope nope.

The narrative was inane, childish nonsense, so that didn't help. It's just that I didn't care when I was breaking heads for the first 8 levels.

So it just simply gets shitty towards the end. I have a hard time saying the game "sucks." That doesn't really tell the whole story. And for the $5 I spent on it over Steam, there's a lot of value there. Man, I can't remember a game flipping so quickly from awesome to terrible like it did towards the end.
