Pretty soon X-Box will be the only choice for anyone, anywhere. Microsoft may not be good at a lot, but they are good at establishing and maintaining monopolies. The only rational counter-argument anyone could possibly have is that the xenophobic nips will cause the console to fail through sheer hatred of anything American. And of course, Microsoft's other problem: designers of the (objectively superior) Japanese RPG the nips apparently flock to. I assume that once again they will react to Microsoft's pleas to develop for them (pleas: huge bags of pure gold) by inscrutably eyeing each other over their tea ceremonies and mocking the uncouth, fat Americans in Japanese. Be sure to send a fluent whiteboy along, Ballmer, otherwise you'll be handicapped even more! An additional prediction: Nintendo will fail during or after the next console generation and become a game developer / publisher only, just as Sega did. Corollary to the prediction: their games will be X-Box exclusives. |
