Can someone explain why The Hobbit is a 3 part movie series? Also Star Trek by laudablepuss 10/15/2012, 1:20pm PDT ???!?!?!??!??! I can only assume this means Peter Jackson will throw in tons of stuff, possibly his family home movies, that have nothing to do with anything. I look forward to hating it. Maybe Legolas and Frodo can be in it for no reason! Also, it's weird that Benedict Cumberbatch is a villain in this, as well as the upcoming Star Trek disaster. Following in the footsteps of the previous movie, they make it SOUND awesome (Cumberbatch plays Gary Mitchell! Possibly.) but it cannot fail to suck terribly because JJ Abrams is malignant jackass.
