Did You Know?
The original Rayman entered production as an SNES game, later becoming an SNES CD-ROM title. When that system was cancelled, development shifted to the Atari Jaguar, and ports were produced for the PlayStation, Saturn, and PC. In the end, it was the PlayStation version that released first, beating the Jaguar version to market by a single week. This means Rayman could accurately be described as originating on a 16-bit, 32-bit, or 64-bit console. |
