They're all cheap as chips and they all look basically identical from the videos I've seen - there's a hallway and it's very dark and things jump out and you shoot them. Is any one of these substantially better than the others? Is any one substantially worse?
Right now I'm leaning towards Wolfenstein (because I just finished another game by the same studio, Singularity, which was decent enough) and Alan Wake (because it looks like it has some trees in it and I like those). Aliens vs. Predator seemed like a no-brainer until it actually came out and everyone hated it. Then again, everyone is usually wrong, so how the fuck should I know. Metro 2033 is the dark horse. An entire game of subway tunnels? That's obviously crazy... but is it crazy enough to work?
Also, I don't expect we have many combat racing fans here, but if anyone played Blur and could speak to that, that would be great. |
