Yes, thank you! I knew I missed something. The cars are better. by Last 01/19/2012, 9:05am PST I was on a driving from minigame to minigame in a custom car that I'd spent money fixing up just the way I like. At one point there was a heated gun battle (read: fun and exciting) and I was jacking fresh cars to try to escape and/or plummet through enemy mobs. I thought to myself "wellp it's too bad that this means I lose that custom car since I'm too far away and have been hopping in and out of multiple other cars. Oh well I can always build it again later". Then, when I ducked into a garage, my custom car had driven itself home! I was surprised that the devs chose fun over shit once again. I shouldn't still be surprised by this game but I keep discovering new ways that SR3 gets it right. There's another minigame I forgot to mention (among others) where you race around a timed course. In GTA4 that'd be the full description, "race around a timed course". In SR3 you are on fire with god mode turned on and you gain extra time for immolating people and detonating vehicles, so it's more like you are a literal firey comet smashing through a city roasting or exploding everything while trying to beat the clock. Fun!
