| one thing this game deserves credit for is its server browser, which allowed me to finally accept that this was a coop ONLY game and join someone playing at the same point in the story that I was, so that I could actually continue playing.
20 deaths and $30k later (half my cash reserves) we were finally done with the one quest to go clear out gun wielding bandits from the police station/power transformer (what?) when the game CTDed (crash to desktop-ed) just before I could return to the quest giver.......... why would it crash, you might be asking yourself? because I did a kick to a zombie before it could take three quarters of my health in a single hit. take all the worst ideas from pre expansion wowcraft and ragnarok online and put a fps melee combat UI over it and you have dead island. fuck blizzard and fuck this game |
